Apartment Block Roof Replacement in Sea Point to Block B at the Chamonix Apartments.

The old asbestos roof tiles were leaking for the last couple of years due to the very low pitch of the roof, approximately 7 degrees. The minimum recommended roof pitch for tiled roofs is 17 degrees.

This resulted in an urgent need for this full apartment block roof Replacement in Sea Point.

The old asbestos slate roof tiles got replaced with a new concealed fixed 700 Springlok profile in the .54 Colorbond Az200 material supplied by Youngman Roofing.

The concealed fixed profile can be installed on roofs as low as 2 degrees in pitch.

The restoration and painting was done by Highpoint Restoration and the client project manager IPMT managed the project from start to finish.
