Meet the Roofers

Our teams are made up of permanently employed Cape Town roofing professionals, who all offer extensive skills, experience and technical know-how. We regularly train our team members to keep their knowledge current and their skills top notch.

Director
Trevor Esterhuizen
Trevor joined the Metro team in October 2022. He spent the past 20 years in the roofing industry.  He has quite a repertoire in roof structure  in both nail plated and high detail exposed trusses. He has spent some time as a production manager for the manufacturing of roof trusses. Trevor prides himself on attention to detail and always works closely with installers, architects and engineers to ensure the best finish.  His experience allows him to work with all our clients from conception, to design, through to final installation.
Warehouse Manager
Mario Simons
Mario has joined Metro Roof in February 2022.  He spent the past years in the roofing industry. His experience allows him to work with all our suppliers. Mario is a team player and makes sure that all materials are sourced at the best possible price and delivered to site on time.  He is married with two kids – Mia-Jordan Simons en Jade Simons.

Orion Harrison
Orion has been with Metro for over 7 years and has been a team leader for more than 3 years now. He has 15+ plus years of experience in the roofing industry. His professional approach and thought for others is second to none.
He likes sport (Soccer, Rugby & Cricket) Liverpool supporter. Orion is married, with three kids (Courtney, Logan & Noah).

Ashwin Brandt
Ashwin  has been with Metro for over 7 years and has been a team leader for more than 3 years now. He has 15+ plus years of experience in the roofing industry. His professional approach and thought for others is second to none. He likes sports (Soccer, Rugby & Cricket) Man United supporter.  Ashwin is married with 2 kids (Azriel and Seth)

Ashley has been a part of Metroroof for the last three years. He’s a dedicated member of the team and definitely knows his stuff. Football, rugby, cricket, and hitting the gym are his true passions.
