Metro Roof are professional roof installers of natural slate roof systems. The slate is installed using the traditional Peterloo slating system with malthoid as an underlay.

The slate comes in two different colours, either the Elephant Black or Silver Blue natural slate. The slate is mined in the Northern Province of South Africa and comes in two sizes: 280 x 255 or 280 x 305.

Metro Roof specialises in two types of cement fibre installations, namely the Nutec Roof Slates supplied by Everite and the Alterna Roof Slate supplied by Marley Roofing.

Nutec Roof Slates are the ideal roofing or cladding material for any project where class, character and individuality are of prime importance. The precise detail of the application and consistent appearance ensures an excellent finish.

Alterna Roof Slate is a very strong/ durable cement fibre slate which is coated with a primer coating.

We are expert roof installers of all types of concrete roof tiles which are supplied by Monier Coverland.

The tiles come in six different profiles, namely – Taunus, Elite, Double Roman, Cupola, Perspective and Renown.

Metro Roof recently completed a tiled re-roof with the Double Roman profile in Pinelands.
