We were asked to supply and fit a new roof for a building in Constantia and our team delivered with expert craftsmanship.

Following Mitek specifications, we set up nail plated trusses for a sheet metal roof. Exposed rafters were built over a patio roof, with steel brackets fixed to the wall. 

Full length corrugated roof sheets were attached to the roof from its apex to the gutter edge for the pitched roofs, while Diamondek profile roof sheets were attached to the flat roofs.

To combat Cape Town’s wind and rain, the pan of the roof sheet was turned up at the apex, keeping the ceiling safe and dry. The pan was turned down at the gutter line to form a drip edge in order to protect the eaves.
