After the roof has seen the end of its useful life, the Trevor and the Metro Roof team expertly completed this re-roofing in Durbanville.
As a certified asbestos removal contractor, we safely removed and discarded the existing asbestos slates.
We installed new timber purlins, vapour barrier and 0.53mm IBR 686 Colorbond/Colorplus AZ-150 sheets in full lengths. This sheeting is of the highest corrosion resistant material and the thickest available, ensuring the new roof is a sturdy replacement.
To finish off, we installed new colour matching flashings. The flashings are sealed it off with 100mm UNIflash and waterproofing sealant.
We also removed the existing carport structure.
