Roof Replacement in Constantia

The Metro Roof team completed a full Roof Replacement on a residential property in Constantia, Cape Town.

The property’s old natural slate roof was replaced with a new concealed fixed Springlok 700 profile metal sheet roof covering in .47 Colorbond AZ150 material.

The existing slate roof was leaking due to the perished slate underlay. The existing timber 38 x 38 battens remainded in place.

The new 50 x 76 SA Pine purlins were installed approximately 1000mm ccs apart from each other in order to create a new fixing point for the roof covering.
