Metro Roof recently completed a residential project in Rondebosh, Western Cape. This project was unique in that the new Slate Roof installation was installed on a curved Timber Structure, requiring expert workmanship from the Metro team.
We pride ourselves in meeting a client’s unique requirements, and applying our combined roofing experience as a team of professionals to produce a customised plan to execute the request. This project was a great learning curve to us to always think outside of the set “roofing box”.
Scope of Work:
New Slate Roof and Gang Nailed Roof Trusses
- We supplied and installed a MiTek designed Gang Nailed Roof Structure.
- We supplied and installed a Mazista Elephant Black Roof Slate on 38 x 38 Timber Battens, which were fixed with Aluminium Nails to ensure no rust or damage to the now durable roof.
