The Metro Roof team recently joined up with Rooftek Trusses to install exposed roof trusses and a new roof covering at the Somerset College new development. The exposed structure in our roofing installation in Somerset West was designed and manufactured by Rooftek Trusses.
SCOPE OF WORK
At this roofing installation in Somerset West the Metro team installed the exposed trusses with the assistance of a crane on site. Six out of the eight units have dormer windows. The Metro team then installed the roof covering to each of the eight units, including the cladding to the 6 dormers. Each dormer and window flashing detail had to be designed and installed by the Metro team.
- Supplied and installed exposed S.A Pine timber roof structure.
- Supplied and installed .53 Colorbond AZ200 Matt finish corrugated roof sheeting, including all flashings.
