Slate Roof Installation on a Curved Timber Structure 

Metro Roof recently completed a residential project in Rondebosh, Western Cape. This project was unique in that the new Slate Roof was installed on a curved Timber Structure, requiring expert workmanship from the Metro team.


Scope of Work:


New Slate Roof and Gang Nailed Roof Trusses

  • Supplied and installed a MiTek designed Gang Nailed Roof Structure.
  • Supplied and installed a Mazista Elephant Black Roof Slate on 38 x 38 Timber Battens, fixed with Aluminium Nails. 

Area: Covered: Roof Size: 425m2 

Date Completed: March 2018  

Warranty Provided:  2-year Workmanship Warranty
